David S. Morgan, President

After earning his B.B.A. in finance from the University of Texas in 1975, David served nearly twenty years in management and executive management roles for commercial construction supply and subsequently high technology related companies in the Austin, Texas area. In 1988, David founded IDM Supply, which was to become IDM Builders in Liberty Hill, Texas. IDM Supply functioned as a distributor of wholesale construction materials. IDM Builders has built both commercial structures and custom residences around central Texas. Today, David serves as President of IDM Builders.

Rick D. Porterfield, Vice President

Rick holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Texas A&M University as well as a Masters in Human Resources from Troy State Unversity. Rick has served in management postitions with various companies in the building construction industry since 1981. His experience includes construction management, scheduling, budgeting, sales management and human resource management. Rick joined the IDM Builders team in 2003 and today serves as Construction Service Manager.

Vance Brawley

After graduating from the University of North Carolina in 1970, Vance Brawley served 14 years in the banking industry with Trust Company Bank in Atlanta, Georgia, before becoming the Chief Financial Officer for Schlaifer, Nance & Company, a worldwide licensing firm. Vance subsequently served four years as Vice President of Liberty Savings Bank in Georgia before a nine year tenure in contracting with the FDIC. Today, Vance serves as a Marketing Representative for IDM Builders. Vance’s hobbies include gardening and travel.

Avis Morgan, Office Manager

After several years in retail management and automobile industry office management, and attending the University of Texas at Austin, Avis Morgan earned her Department of Defense Novice Linguist certification.  She then served over two years as a Korean Linguist for the United States Army, stationed in Monterey, California.  Avis joined the IDM Builders team in 2006 and now provides administrative support for construction services.

Kate Marie Morgan, Accounting

Kate Morgan is currently serving her seventh year with IDM Builders peforming cost accounting, tax reporting, and payroll support functions as well as field and customer support.  During this time period Kate has also attended The University of Texas at Austin and is currently working towards her degree in Textiles and Apparel: Design and Conservation.  Kate's hobbies include Polo, martial arts, running, cycling and surfing.
